Accordingly, the CDNX bulletin of Feb. 6, 2002, should have read as follows:

The company has announced it will offer to shareholders of record at Feb. 15, 2002, rights to purchase shares of the company. One right will be issued for every 10 common shares held. One right and 17 cents are required to purchase one unit, each unit consisting of one share and one-half of one share purchase warrant. One whole share purchase warrant and 30 cents entitle the buyer to purchase one share of the company up to six months after the record date. As at Sept. 30, 2001, the company had 55,351,773 shares issued and outstanding.

Rights give existing shareholders a chance to proportionately buy shares in the new issue the company is putting out to raise more funds. The certificate showing this privilege is called a right.  It  gives the stockholders the first opportunity,  to buy the new securities.
