JSObjects Use License Agreement Explained 1 - JSObjects is released under a dual license term. By dual license terms it means that JSObjects use is ruled by a GPL license and by a Commercial license. 1.1 - The GPL License The JSObjects Library is released under the GNU General Public License (GPL). This means that the JSObjects Library can be used free of charge under the GPL. If you do not want to be bound by the GPL terms (such as the requirement that your application must also be GPL), you may purchase a commercial license for the same product. By GPL License, you understand that all the offered in the JSObjects is free software. The GPL license is contagious in the sense that when a program is linked to a GPL program, all the source code for all the parts of the resulting product must also be released under the GPL. If you do not follow this GPL requirement, you break the license terms and forfeit your right to use the GPL program altogether. For further information about GPL License, please, refer to the LICENSE_GPL.txt file or the link bellow: http://www.fsf.org/licenses/ 1.2 - The Commercial License The Commercial License allows you to use the JSObjects Library code and ship it with your product charging for it. It, off course, does not give you copyright over the JSObjects Library code. It only allows you to use and ship it with your application. By acquiring a Commercial License, the user is also allowed to make changes to the code and not share it with anyone. Again, the changes made does not give the copyright over the library code to the user, only over the changes. A Commercial License does also allow the user to hide the JSObjects code in any way he wants, so modifications made are not seem by others. The method used to hide the code (scrambler, crypthografic, whatever) concerns only to the user. Also, by acquiring a Commercial License, the user joins the JSObjects Users List, which allows him to access restricted areas of the JSObjects Project and also to have Commercial support. For further information about Commercial License, please, refer to the LICENSE_COMMERCIAL.txt file or the link bellow: http://www.jsobjects.org/?pag_name=licenses
