Warrants to purchase common shares of the company will be listed and admitted to trading on the exchange on a when issued basis at the opening of business on December 22 1993.
In connection with the proposed amalgamation of the company with Kinross Gold, by way of a plan of arrangement, the company will issue to holders of its common shares one warrant for each two common shares held on December 30 1993. Each warrant will entitle the holder to purchase one common share at $3.50 at any time from January 17 1994 up to and including December 31 1996. The common shares of the company will trade on an ex-distribution basis in connection with the distribution of warrants of the company effective at the opening of business on December 22 1993.
