Ivanhoe Australia to list 46.72 million warrants

Ivanhoe Australia Ltd. will list 46.72 million warrants on the Toronto Stock Exchange, which will begin trading at the open on Monday, Nov. 29, 2010. The warrants will trade under the symbol IVA.WT. According to an Aug. 10, 2010, news release on the company's website, it issued the warrants with an offer to raise $213-million (Australian). Each warrant allows the holder to buy one Ivanhoe Australia share at $3.83 (Australian).

Ivanhoe Australia Limited (the "Company") - An application has been granted for the original listing in the Mining category of 491,607,449 ordinary shares of the Company, of which 418,083,853 ordinary shares are issued and outstanding, and 73,523,596 ordinary shares are reserved for issuance.

The ordinary shares of the Company will be listed and posted for trading at the opening on Friday, November 12, 2010.

Registration of interests in and transfers of ordinary shares will be made only through the book-entry only system of CDS Clearing and Depository Services Inc. ("CDS"). The ordinary shares must be purchased and transferred only through a CDS Participant. Beneficial owners of ordinary shares will not have the right to receive physical certificates evidencing their ownership.

The Company is subject to the reporting requirements of Section 501 of the TSX Company Manual.
