The company has agreed to increase its participation in the Cochise oil and gas prospect in Cochise county, Arizona. The company will pay 20% of the cost of the initial well on the prospect to earn 20% of revenues until payout and a 13% working interest thereafter in the well and over 80,000 acres of oil and natural gas leases assembled by the operator of the project.
The company has arranged a private placement of 500,000 units at $0.40 per unit to be held for 12 months from the date of advancement of funds. Each unit will consist of one common share without par value in the capital stock of the company and one warrant to purchase one additional share for one year at $0.50 per share.
The proceeds of this placement will be used to fund Curlew's share of the initial well on the Cochise oil and gas prospect.
