The company has announced it will issue to shareholders of record in Canada at November 27 1997 4:30 pm PST, non-renounceable rights to purchase shares of the company. One right will be issued for each share held. One right and C$0.125 are required to purchase one unit, each unit consisting of one ordinary share and warrant. The rights offering will expire on December 18 1997 4:30 pm PST. One warrant and A$0.20 entitles the buyer to purchase one ordinary share of the company up to June 30 1998. As at November 14 1997 the company had 157,792,788 shares issued and outstanding.
Shareholders will be mailed their rights offering documentation by December 3 1997. Canadian shareholders in BC, Alberta and Ontario will receive a Canadian Rights Offering Memorandum.
